There are some special qualities and personality traits about this woman - as well as others whom I GREATLY admire - that are quite similar to my own, but different enough to set each of us apart as unique vessels...fit for the MASTER's use.
And THAT is why I esteem HIM & THEM as HIGH as I can lift 'em. :)

Twinkie has been and still is my inspiration! A lot of who I am and what I do in music ministry was inspired by her and Dr. Clark. Twinkie and Dr. Clark would come to Fort Worth every year and do a citywide workshop at the church where I now serve as Minister of Music. Twinkie would conduct herself as a woman of God, always with class. In this male-dominated field she was and is not intimidated, because she could and can play with most of them. They were more scared of her...lol.
What we call contemporary now, she was doing it then, chord styling and rhythms only a few...and I mean could do them and keep up. There is such an anointing in her playing, and her songwriting is classic! Still today her songs will lay you out! And that's what Dr. Clark demanded: holiness and excellence!
I am so blessed that a lot of my style is of what Dr. Clark and Twinkie taught, and I am glad that our paths crossed, because I am the richer for it. Blessings!

This man came to HTC, my wonderful "home church," on more than one occasion and 'bout "killedt" our po' li'l organ! Ya heard me? Honey, if ya ask me, I really don't think the "thang" has FULLY & COMPLETELY recovered yet...to THIS day! **smh**
Naw...seriously though, folks, Sir Moses is an outrageously FIERCE organist who, I believe, takes GREAT pleasure in watching the reaction of his spell-bound audience, as he "beats the natural stuffing" out of an organ! But I ain't mad at him; 'cause I realize that he is giving EVERYTHING he's got and then some, according to the POWer of GOD that works inside of him. Knowing this, then, I say: "Loooong live 'The Mighty Moses'"! :)
