We only deceive ourselves and non-believers, not God, when we pretend that we are true believers; for if we are true believers, then we have believed unto righteousness and are dead to this world and alive to Christ. For to be carnal (worldly) minded is enmity (at odds) with God. If we are at odds with God because we have not believed unto righteousness, then the Holy Scripture states that we are none of His, and we belong to this world which passes away.

I stepped out on faith in May 2009, walked away from a "secure" job in higher education and allowed God to lead me to where He wanted me to be!!! We need to be about our Father's business!!! Time out for complaining and making excuses... we're servants...

and we need to get to serving!!! Shoot!

 

...I believe I was put on this earth to help those who are less fortunate...I have so much compassion for God's people...I try to see all as reflections of God...I try to see past their current state of affairs, and see them as they will become once God enters their lives.

God has given me the desire and skills to work with the homeless...I love what I do!! :)

 

The work is beyond the four walls of the church building...we often think going to church and a few weekly church meetings is all there is to it! For the most part, those in church are already "saved"...we need to go and get the ones who are lost! And we need to be letting our light shine so bright that people want to know what it is about us that makes us smile like we do...I'm just saying! :)
